Project Assistant for Heal Hub

Overview:

We are looking for an organised and committed Project Assistant to support our team with the Heal Hub project. Helping communities needs consistency, we’re building a team that cares about people and is willing to think differently to get great results. We welcome and encourage applications from a diversity of backgrounds.

Heal Hub is a community and youth-led response to accessing mental health support. We co-designed an early intervention approach with communities on their terms, based on their current lived experience. Heal Hub allows young people to self-refer or refer their peers for mental health support. We have found that many young people see therapy as a tool for broken people, rather than the preventative well-being intervention it is. However, there is now a community of young people talking about mental health, who then encourage friends that are struggling to access Heal Hub. Since its creation, we have supported 200 young people and counting.
