We Are Hiring: Project Coordinator (Community Health)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and adaptable individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. This exciting, fixed-term project focuses on community, inclusion, health, and wellbeing across the Black Country.
Your Role:
As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a timetable of community wellbeing events and sessions, aiming to address health inequity by providing knowledge, experiences, and peer-led spaces. Your efforts will help improve life outcomes for individuals, their families, and their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise project management techniques to ensure smooth delivery and achievement of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Develop and deliver a full timetable of community events and activities in Dudley and Walsall. Including, adjusting plans to meet the needs of the community.
- Travel across the Black Country to attend community events.
- Promote the project to communities and stakeholders to maximise signups, engagement, and attendance with activities. Including, presenting the initiative within community spaces.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders (community members, colleagues, volunteers, commissioners, voluntary organisations, and local statutory organisations) to collaborate on project development, delivery, and promotion.
- Be attentive to the needs of community members and offer pastoral support (including following safeguarding and health and safety policies).
- Coordinate and oversee a small team of volunteers.
- Generate reports on project performance to track progress and identify operational risks.
- Maintain and organise project documentation per record-keeping and data protection policies.
- Report to the Project Portfolio Manager on key results and project progression.
Practical Considerations:
Place of Work: Dudley (DY2)
Hours: 32 hours per week
Salary: £24,960 – £27,040 (pro-rata, based on experience)
Contract: Fixed-term (6 months)
Working Pattern: Flexible working patterns, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
