1st & 2nd September 2016 at The Custard Factory, Digbeth, Birmingham

Protective Behaviours is a practical, down-to-earth approach to personal safety. It is a process that encourages self-empowerment and brings with it the skills to raise self-esteem and to help avoid being victimised. This is achieved by helping individuals to recognise and trust their intuitive feelings and to develop strategies for self-protection.

This 2 day course aims to introduce participants to the process of Protective Behaviours and to show how the process can be used to enhance working practice and life beyond the workplace. Participants will become familiar with the themes and strategies of Protective Behaviours and learn to make positive change by using safe, empowering language, both in the workplace and in personal matters.

Participants are encouraged and supported by the course facilitator to contribute to discussions in a caring training room environment, and those attending both days will be awarded a PBC Protective Behaviours Foundation Level Certificate.

This opportunity has a reduced course price of £200 (usually £225) if paid before 25th August 2016.
