Gallery 37 Summer Programme is all you need to kick start your career in the creative industries. Invest in your creative future with Punch this summer, featuring:

  • A hands on creative residency with industry leaders (key dates 2nd until 10th Sept)
  • Present new work at a destination showcase event at Eastside Park’s Millennium Point – G37 Takeover alongside Special Guest line-up

Throughout August and September:

  • Top quality industry networking, career guidance to get you focused
  • Skills training to get you fully equipped to promote your creative talents and business
  • Get a real qualification and references and unlock new opportunities including training and employment to live your dream

Residency Art Camps being developed include: Hip Hop Dance, Music, Contemporary Dance Theatre, Spoken Word, Film, Visual Arts, Craft & Fashion – with lots of collaborative crossovers for you to explore.

If you are based in Birmingham, aged between 16-25 years and currently unemployed, not in full time training or education, this programme is for you.

It costs £0!!!! We will cover your food & travel and all art related materials.

Free employability programme for 18-25s!

UpRising’s Fastlaners programme equips unemployed 18-25s with all the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to find a job they will love. The free programme offers two weeks of full-time employability and personal development workshops, followed by six months mentoring and one-to-one job support. 86% of participants from the first programme have found jobs or training within the first three months!

“The programme covered everything about enhancing employability and also provided insights about the aspects I never thought about before, such as working environment and culture, new sectors I never heard about, new career paths and more.”

The next programme starts in Birmingham on 5th September – applications are open until mid-August, with places filling up fast. Sports Employability Executive – Sport Structures
Full time – Birmingham & Black Country
Salary: £16-18,000 per annum pro-rata six month contract with the potential of being continued

Work as part of a team to coordinate and deliver Sport Structures Coaching Communities Employability programme in the Black Country.
